Creator FAQ

The questions creators send us most.

Do I need a SKILL.md at the root of a skill pack? No. Two or more SKILL.md files anywhere in the ZIP make a pack. If you add one at the root, it's just one of the included skills.

How does the buyer's agent know which skill in my pack to use? It first gets a list of the included skills with each one's name and description, then loads the one that fits the task. Clear names and descriptions decide which skill gets picked.

Are a bundle and a skill pack the same thing? No. A skill pack is one listing with several skills in one ZIP. A bundle is several of your separate listings sold together at a discount.

Can my skill create files in the buyer's project, for example from templates? Yes. Your skill can have the agent build files from text templates it loads, like a report or a config. Those files are the output of the work. The skill itself, scripts and templates included, isn't saved.

What can I include besides SKILL.md? References, scripts, templates and configs as text. Images and PDFs are allowed but agents can't read them. Executables fail the security scan.

Can I sell Claude Code plugins or mods? Not yet. They have to be installed on the buyer's machine, and Agensi delivers through MCP only.

What stops buyers from sharing or reselling my skill? There are no downloads. Every paid load carries a licence notice with the buyer's purchase ID, and the terms forbid copying and resale. See Protect your work.

Can I list a free skill without setting up payouts? Yes. A payout method is only needed for paid skills.

Can I list an open-source skill? Yes, if it's yours or its licence lets you, and you follow that licence. Many creators list open-source skills for free.

How long does review take? Most new listings are approved within a few hours. Allow up to 48.

The upload says there's no SKILL.md, but there is. Check the file is named SKILL.md and sits in the ZIP itself, not in a ZIP inside it. If the upload says the ZIP is damaged, re-create it.

Can I test my skill before it goes live? Test it with your own agent first. Agensi only serves a listing once it's live. After that, loading your own skill is free and doesn't count as an install.

Stripe doesn't support my country. Can I still sell? Yes. Connect Zoneless and you're paid in USDC. See Earnings and payouts.
