Acne scars aren't a surface problem, which is why surface treatments keep letting you down.
Most rolling and boxcar scars sit below the top layer of skin, where the original breakout pulled collagen down with it. A peel or facial works on the surface. The scar is underneath.
That's what Dr. Okafor is doing here. The needles open tiny channels, and the radiofrequency heats the deeper layer so your skin rebuilds collagen where the dent actually is. She sets the depth differently on the cheeks than near the jaw, because scar depth isn't the same across your face.
