    About this skill

    The expensive failure in solo and small-team work isn't bad work — it's work that reached 80%, the session ended, and nothing ever pointed back at it. This skill closes every working session with three blocks:

    • DONE — only things finished AND verified against the live source. An unverified "deployed" gets moved to OPEN, because a false all-clear in a ledger is worse than no ledger.
    • OPEN — started, blocked, or deferred, each with what unblocks it.
    • NEXT — exactly one action with a time cost. Never a menu.

    Then it appends a dated entry to an append-only SESSION-LEDGER.md, so "where did we leave off?" becomes a file read instead of a guess — even for a future session with no memory of this one.

    No write actions on outside platforms, no padding, failures always logged, and a cold-read test: could you tell what shipped and what to do first three weeks from now without opening anything else?
