1. Communities to consider (fit first)
I'd shortlist communities where people already ask for habit or focus tools: ADHD support communities, productivity communities and app-feedback communities. I'll read each one's rules before choosing, because many ADHD communities restrict promotion.

2. Rules check (done live, the day we post)
For each shortlisted community I read the rules and sidebar and sort them:

Productivity community with a weekly promo thread	Links only in that thread	Post once, in the thread, disclosed.

Feedback community: "I built a habit tracker for my own ADHD. What would make you actually open it every day?" First line: "I'm the developer." The post shares the three features that came from user interviews; the link is at the end.
Promo thread: two sentences, disclosed, one link.

4. Posting and follow-up

Post one community at a time, at least 20 minutes apart.
Reply to every real question in the first 3 hours.
Check each post at 1, 6 and 24 hours. If a post is removed, note the reason; a second removal in the same community means we stop posting there.
