Arabic PowerPoint Decks (RTL PPTX)

Ask an AI agent for an Arabic presentation and you usually get slides that read wrong: text hugging the left edge, iPhone 15 flipped to 15iPhone, spaces swallowed around English words, table columns mirrored, and numbered steps running 01 → 04 from the left. The deck opens, the text is all there, and it still looks broken to every Arabic reader.

This skill gives your agent a tested Python library (python-pptx) that writes the direction settings PowerPoint needs, plus the layout rules that text settings can't fix.

What it handles

• The lang switch per run: the single setting that decides whether spaces collapse and numbers flip. python-pptx never sets it; this does.
• Direction and alignment: RTL paragraphs, RTL tables (first column on the right), real bullets with the hanging indent on the right.
• Mixed Arabic and English: brand names, product models and numbers stay in place.
• Layout that reads right to left: steps_slide() places step 01 on the right and joins steps with ← arrows; rtl_positions() does the same for any custom layout.
• Decks that stay RTL: presentation and master defaults are set to RTL, so text the presenter adds later starts on the right.
• Existing decks: audit_pptx() lists what an audience would see wrong; fix_pptx() repairs a deck made elsewhere while keeping its design.
• Optional animation: direction-neutral fade transitions and click-by-click builds in right-to-left order, off by default.
• Visual check: preview() converts through PowerPoint (or LibreOffice) and renders every slide to PNG.
