literature discovery
by Alexandra La Cruz
Systematic discovery and landscape mapping of scientific literature with citation analysis and venue quality filtering.
I build AI, machine learning, and data science solutions that turn complex data and research problems into working products. I’m a computer engineer with a master's in biomedical engineering and a PhD in technological sciences. My work combines software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, and applied research. I also work with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, knowledge graphs, intelligent agents, and AI-powered automation. Beyond implementation, I bring research experience and the ability to translate technical and scientific requirements into reproducible, well-documented solutions. I’m particularly interested in projects involving: • Machine learning & predictive modeling • Data analysis, EDA & ETL • AI/LLM applications • RAG, agents & knowledge graphs • AI automation • Scientific and biomedical data • Research prototypes and proof-of-concepts • Technical and educational AI tools I don’t just build models; I help turn ideas, data, and research questions into usable technical solutions. Researcher and creator of Academic Research Suite; 16 AI-agent skills covering the full academic research lifecycle, from literature discovery to submission-ready manuscript.
