About this skill
Use when you organise a board-game night, an esports cup or a club event and want fair pairings and standings nobody can argue with. A script builds the bracket or pairs each Swiss round (avoiding rematches whenever a rematch-free pairing exists), hands out byes, breaks ties with Direct Encounter and Buchholz as defined in the FIDE tie-break regulations, makes a simple schedule for Swiss and round robin, and writes an HTML board you re-share after each batch of results.
Do not use when you need an official FIDE-rated pairing system (Dutch, Burstein), colour allocation, or league formats with home and away legs.
Requires: Python 3.9+ (standard library only). No internet access needed.
