Summary
Connected to the Stelar Signals MCP server (streamable HTTP: https://api.stelardigital.com/mcp) and pulled the tool catalog - 12 tools in two groups.
Pay-per-call tools (x402, USDC on Base - no signup, no API key)
| Tool | Price | What it returns |
|---|---|---|
| price | $0.005 | Current price, 24h/7d change, bullish/bearish/neutral signal |
| sentiment | $0.005 | Sentiment score (-1 to +1) with label, for text or an asset |
| telemetry | $0.005 | Frozen telemetry from a retired AI-managed crypto portfolio |
| risk | $0.02 | Volatility/drawdown risk regime (low/med/high) vs 30-day baseline |
| regime | $0.03 | Market regime (chop/trend_up/trend_down/high_vol) plus grid-suitability verdict |
| gridparams | $0.05 | Grid count, spacing %, price band, per-grid allocation |
Unpaid calls return the exact x402 payment terms (HTTP 402); an x402-capable client settles and retries automatically.
Free-from-Stelar tools (need your own RapidAPI key)
crypto_regime, crypto_sentiment, summarize, factcheck, pricecheck, token_risk - set RAPIDAPI_KEY to enable; the six paid tools work without it.
Assets covered: SOL, XLM, BTC, ETH, XRP, DOGE, LTC, ADA.

About this skill
Stelar Signals MCP is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives any MCP-compatible agent crypto market signal tools. Install with one command, or point your client at the hosted streamable-HTTP endpoint.
12 tools in two groups:
- Six tools (crypto_regime, crypto_sentiment, summarize, factcheck, pricecheck, token_risk) carry no charge from Stelar but require your own RapidAPI key (set RAPIDAPI_KEY).
- Six pay-per-call tools settle over the x402 protocol in USDC on Base. No API key — an agent wallet pays per call.
Install (stdio): claude mcp add stelar -- npx -y stelar-signals-mcp Remote (streamable HTTP): https://api.stelardigital.com/mcp
Works with any MCP client, including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and Codex CLI. Full tool list, prices, and usage notes are in the attached SKILL.md. One honesty note carried from the tool descriptions: the telemetry tool serves a frozen historical record from a retired grid bot.
