Receipt & Expense Studio helps your Agent turn supplied receipt photos, PDF receipts and expense records into a source-linked register, useful native Excel, a clear PDF report and a pack of original documents. This is a complete free English Skill.

Start with the real task, compare the evidence, resolve uncertainty and deliver files someone can continue using. A small personal register should stay simple; a larger project can use the full review and reporting workflow.

64 practical starting cases

The reusable collection contains 64 complete fictional briefs in 16 families: business travel, freelance consulting, remote work, shops and makers, creators and production, research, student life, households, shared living, personal travel, events, community volunteering, moving, property upkeep, international precision and month-end review.

Examples cover complete receipts, client recharges, agreed work shares, shared-source allocations, linked refunds, duplicates and excluded duplicates, missing originals, unreadable totals, uncertain dates, several payers, long supplier names, real zero charges, original currencies, JPY/KWD precision, documented and incomplete FX, and a 120-record register. Extra rows and colors are not counted as extra scenarios.

The creator-local collection contains 64 native Excel workbooks, 64 PDF reports, 517 expense rows and 504 labelled fictional source receipts. All six gallery boards use actual local outputs and together show all 64 cases. Finished creator examples and runtime/font binaries are not a promised downloadable template bundle. Money and evidence stay connected

Preserve source bytes, original filename metadata, actual page references and SHA-256 fingerprints. Keep zero distinct from unknown. Confirmed costs, known amounts still under review, unknown amounts and exclusions remain separate. A changed source hash, missing receipt, unresolved allocation or duplicate can prevent confirmation.

Use exact-decimal arithmetic and explicit currency precision. Preserve refunds alongside their linked original charges. Keep original currencies separate; convert only when the rate, direction, date and source are supplied, and expose incomplete conversions. The included registry supports twelve currencies, including whole-unit JPY/KRW and three-decimal KWD/BHD. Other currencies need a checked definition and exporter verification.

These checks support organization and source review. They do not prove authenticity, bank settlement, reimbursement eligibility or accounting/tax approval.

Real files and a useful review interface

Generate native-text PDF, CSV, project/review JSON, an HTML review edition and copied originals. The optional native Excel workbook has typed dates and numbers, editable inputs, formula-linked currency/category summaries, filtering, validation and frozen headers. It is not a flattened spreadsheet picture.

The browser interface links the selected expense to an actual source thumbnail/PDF. Edit supported fields, save/import project data, choose among sixteen report directions and A4/US Letter, and export current CSV/HTML. Current edited PDF/Excel downloads work through the explicitly started local helper. Static hosting alone cannot execute those Python/Node exports. Sources remain immutable and changes are not automatically saved.

Sixteen directions use corporate, editorial, compact, journal, dossier, folio and notebook structures. PDF/HTML contain native text and tables; the PDF is a share/print output, while Excel, project data and HTML text provide the editable work. Rebuild after changing evidence or currency to refresh source checks and companion reports. An output-only ZIP can retain original bytes and a hash inventory without bundling the reusable Skill.

Requirements and checked scope

The document helper needs Python 3.10+, ReportLab and pypdf. Native PDF text extraction is supported; image OCR additionally uses installed English Tesseract. A scanned PDF needs an available authorized OCR route. Poppler is optional for thumbnails. The included Excel exporter specifically needs Node.js 20+ and @oai/artifact-tool in the buyer environment. A capable Agent may instead use its own spreadsheet tools with separate verification. No paid OCR API, seller backend, banking connection, web framework build or font download is required by the Python static workflow. Unsupported PDF glyphs require a permitted supplied TTF; font binaries are not bundled.

Creator-local checks covered all 64 complete cases, 91 source/arithmetic/behavior checks, native Excel recalculation and actual input changes, 192 rendered worksheet views, PDF decoding, original-byte preservation and a clean extracted release. Real IAB tests exercised edit/review, save/import, filtering, three-decimal totals, phone layout and actual current-state PDF/Excel/CSV/HTML downloads. These bounded tests are not independent customer acceptance or a promise of arbitrary OCR accuracy.

Agensi access and generated outputs

Agensi loads protected instructions and supporting resources on demand. This free listing does not promise a downloadable or offline copy of the reusable Skill. Customer registers, reports, source inventories and originals are separate work products; creation and retrieval depend on the buyer Agent's permitted execution and artifact access.

Agensi buyer-side loading of all supporting files, interpreter and spreadsheet dependencies, font access, execution and generated-work retrieval remain unverified. Loading SKILL.md alone is insufficient; please have Agensi verify the complete path before approval. Desktop Microsoft Excel edit/save, direct-file/offline browser reopening, external customer trials and arbitrary real-receipt/handwriting recognition also remain unverified.

Original workflow/code, briefs, compositions and custom UI icons use the included MIT license. Source documents, third-party runtimes and fonts retain their own rights. Demonstration receipts, merchants and amounts are fictional. No percentage recognition guarantee, payment processing, automatic claim filing or report sending is offered.

Questions

Is it completely free? Yes. The complete Skill is free. Optional external tools you choose can have their own costs; no particular paid provider is required.

What can I edit? Native Excel inputs, ordinary project data and HTML report text. Supported browser edits can be saved/imported and exported. PDF is the sharing/printing version.

Can it handle phone receipt photos? The local image route uses installed Tesseract, or your Agent can use another authorized OCR/vision tool. Every uncertain result needs source review. Native PDF text extraction and scanned-PDF OCR are different routes.

Will it invent missing amounts? No. Missing values remain unresolved. Explicit zero charges are retained separately from unknown amounts.

Can I mix currencies or share a receipt? Original currencies remain separate. Agreed shares and linked refunds are supported; full-source allocations and rounded results must reconcile. Foreign conversion needs its documented basis.

Is this accounting software or a bank integration? It organizes supplied evidence and produces files. It does not connect to banks, transfer money, establish claim eligibility or automatically submit reports.

Has the Agensi buyer workflow been tested? Not yet. Multi-file loading, dependencies, execution and generated-file retrieval need platform verification. Creator-local checks establish a narrower result.
