    You paste

I sent the proposal to my champion at Acme Corp three days ago and they’ve gone dark. They seemed really keen in the meeting. What should I do?

    • Read your context and instructions
    • Compiled the rainmaker

    rAInmaker asks first:

Before I answer, who else has seen this proposal, and has anyone mentioned budget or sign-off?

    You reply

Only my champion. Nobody’s mentioned budget.

    rAInmaker’s read:

You’re mistaking enthusiasm for commitment. You have a champion, but nobody has verified the economic buyer or the path to signature.

    Where the deal really stands

Stakeholders: single-threaded. You’re talking to a champion, not the person who signs.

Pain: unquantified. The proposal lists features but never names what doing nothing costs them.

Next step: passive. “Waiting for feedback” is a hope, not a next step.

Risk: high. Three days of silence after a proposal usually means a budget or priority roadblock you haven’t mapped.

    The move

Stop chasing the keen feeling and test whether the deal is real. Send this:

    Subject: Acme / [Your Company]

[Name], when I don’t hear back after a proposal, it usually means priorities have shifted or I missed the mark on the business case.

If this has dropped down your list, tell me and I’ll stop chasing. I’d rather know than guess.

    Then

    Send the note above.

Search your inbox for any CFO or legal name you haven’t mapped yet.
If they reply, don’t book a “check-in”. Book a “review of decision criteria” with whoever holds the budget.

    About this skill

Your forecast is lying to you, and so is your buyer’s enthusiasm.

“They loved the demo” is not a finding. Most deals that stall were never real. The champion had no power, nobody asked what happens if the buyer does nothing, and the next step was a hope. You find out at quarter end, when it’s too late.

rAInmaker is a Claude Skill that acts like the sales manager who tells you the truth in the car park. It asks before it answers, pushes past your first explanation, and won’t praise work it hasn’t tested.

*What you can do with it

    • Stress-test a live deal. Find out who actually signs, what the buyer loses by doing nothing, and where the deal is single-threaded. It speaks MEDDPICC, SPICED or BANT if that’s what your team uses.

    • Get a blunt read on your outreach. Paste a cold email, LinkedIn note or proposal and get the one biggest gap, plus a rewrite that sounds like you instead of a template.

    • Practise the hard conversation first. Spar against a realistic buyer built from your own brief. Try the procurement officer who wants 20% off. Then get scored.

    • Audit your pipeline. Separate real commits from activity that only looks like progress.

    • Tear down a call. Paste a transcript and get quoted evidence of what you missed, plus a ready-to-send follow-up.

    • Stop things slipping. It keeps a living file per deal, flags overdue next steps, and can email you a daily action digest.

    *How it works

    • Connect once. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, add Agensi, then ask for rAInmaker. Claude shows the price and buys only after you approve. Nothing is downloaded, and every update loads automatically.

    • Two-minute setup. Tell it your role, your market (spelling, currency, language) and how hard you want it to push, from mentor to full sparring partner.

    • Connect what you have. Optionally add Gmail or Outlook, your calendar, and your product docs from Drive or OneDrive, so it coaches against your real deals and your real product.

    • Bring it the real thing. Paste the transcript, the draft or the deal notes. Expect a question first, then the single biggest gap and the next move.

    • Come back tomorrow. With memory on, your brief and deal files carry over, so the coaching builds instead of resetting.

*Why not just prompt Claude yourself?

A blank chat flatters you. This is built the other way round. It distrusts first answers, applies strict writing rules so your drafts don’t read like AI, and keeps a record of every stakeholder and promise across your pipeline. It also quizzes you on your own product knowledge, so you stay sharp as things change.

    *Use it for

    • Finding the pain points you missed on a discovery call
    • Rehearsing a discount showdown before it happens
    • Turning a “just circling back” email into one that gets a reply
    • Working out who really holds the pen on a stalled $100k deal

    *Straight about the limits

    • Deal tracking across sessions needs two Claude settings switched on: Search and reference chats and Generate memory from chats. Your brief and deal files are stored in your Claude memory or a Claude Project, not inside the skill. Memory isn’t available in Claude Cowork, so use a normal chat. The setup guide inside the skill tells you how.

    • Email, calendar and drive connectors depend on your Claude plan.

    • It’s a coaching aid. It gives suggestions, not guarantees, and it won’t write your deal for you.

    *What it costs

Sales coaching tools usually run as annual contracts. AI sales coaching tools typically cost about $30 to $40 per user per month, roughly $360 to $480 a year per seat, according to 2026 comparison articles, with nothing to keep when you stop paying. rAInmaker is $19, once, and you keep it.

The licence covers one Agensi account. A setup guide is built into the skill, and rAInmaker Lite is free if you want to try the coaching first.

    How to use

Skills on Agensi run inside your AI agent. Copy the prompt, paste it into your agent, and it connects to Agensi and installs this skill for you. If a payment is needed, your agent shows it to you first.
