Step 1: the loudest AI tells go. Signature words (delve, tapestry, robust, vibrant; in Portuguese: mergulhar em, desvendar, jornada), rotating connectors ("moreover", «além disso», «nos dias de hoje»), "it's not just X, it's Y", staged questions ("The result?"), em dashes and slogan lists. It adds no facts, numbers or names the original did not have.
Step 2: for copy meant for Portugal, the six most frequent Brazilian slips get fixed. «estou fazendo» → «estou a fazer», «Me diz» → «Diz-me», «a gente» → «nós», «tem que» → «tem de», «você» in casual consumer copy (after checking the brand's register), and the common words: tela → ecrã, celular → telemóvel, time → equipa, café da manhã → pequeno-almoço.
You get the cleaned text, then one Changed: line naming what was fixed, and nothing after it.
Tested before launch. Four short texts, in English and European Portuguese, each run with and without the skill and graded blind against checks written in advance: 20 of 20 with the skill, 16 of 20 without.
The full PT-PT Humanizer adds a checker script with about 10,000 dictionary entries for Brazilian words and pre-1990 spellings, a 17-section catalogue, a brief check, and a BLOCK or APPROVE verdict with a facts diff.
