Paperset: Branded PDFs checked page by page

The report looked right on screen, then the PDF export broke on page two: the footer covers the text, the logo is a blank box, and four slides are missing from the deck. Every project ends up with its own build script that repeats the same render bugs. Paperset gives your agent one pipeline for branded, print-ready PDFs and makes it look at every page before handing off a file.

What it does

• Format lock settles brand, language, orientation and page budget before writing.
• Source choice uses self-contained HTML, Markdown through pandoc, YAML or JSON with Jinja2 templates, or a fixed-size A4 page component.
• Embedded assets swaps placeholder tokens for base64 logo, signature and font data, so there are no external URLs.
• Print layout puts footers and page numbers in @page margin boxes, never position: fixed.
• Text sweep replaces em dashes and --, and removes filler, internal notes, teammate names and personal data.
• Page-by-page check rasterises every page with pdftoppm and checks each image for overflow, breaks, footer and logo.

How it works

1. Lock brand, language, format and page budget.
2. Write the source and embed every asset.
3. Sweep the text, then render with the right engine: WeasyPrint for letters and reports, Chromium for SVG and app pages, a screenshot per slide plus reportlab for decks.
4. Check page count with pdfinfo and view every page as an image.
5. Hand off one file named <Brand>-<Topic>.pdf in the agreed outbox, size checked, no double extension.

Why this beats prompting it yourself

A plain prompt exports once and reports success. Paperset carries guards from real render failures (truncated decks, overlapping fixed footers, stripped print colours) and does not hand off until every page was viewed.
