Offerline
Example session with this skill installed
Price this project for a new React dashboard. The client is a logistics firm. Include a build fee, a 3-month retainer, and a training pack for 5 staff members. Use my company identity.
- Read your context and instructions
- Compiled the offerline
Offer for the logistics dashboard, under the company identity from your notes. One price for the core build, add-ons kept separate, every line justified for a non-technical buyer.
| Line | Why it costs this | Price (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Design | 6 screens for dispatch and managers, desktop and tablet, one revision round each | 2,800 |
| Development | live fleet map, status filters, weekly reports, sign-in with roles | 8,400 |
| Revisions, 2 rounds | after the staging review, scoped to the agreed screens | 800 |
| Core build, one price | 12,000 | |
| Training, 5 staff | one day on-site, workbook and setup guide for each person | 2,000 |
| Retainer, 3 months | bug fixes, security updates and small changes, 48 h response | 1,500 / month |
| Add-on: carrier API | optional, quoted now so it never surprises anyone later | 3,500 |
Payment phases: 50% deposit before work starts, 30% on staging sign-off, 20% at handover. Training is paid before the session; the retainer monthly from launch.
Quotation Q-2026-031 · valid 30 days · issued under your company name and contact details.
- Assumptions: the client supplies vehicle data through their existing GPS provider; one staging review.
- Exclusions: hardware, third-party licence fees, data migration from the old system.
Your tax registration is not in your notes, so the tax line is left blank. Please confirm before I render the PDF.
Next steps
- Check the line justifications against what was said on the call.
- Confirm your tax status, then render the one-page scope and the quotation PDF.
- Tell me if the client needs a bilingual version or a short deck.

Connects securely to your tools. The creator never sees your data.
About this skill
A client asks "how much?" and the usual answer is a nervous range, a quote with a "miscellaneous" line, work started before anything was agreed, and an invoice that no longer matches. Ask your agent to "price this project and make a quotation" and Offerline runs the whole offer: one number justified line by line, a one-page scope, a quotation with validity and payment phases, the pitch the buyer needs, and an invoice that traces back to the quote.
Why it's different
- One price, not a range: every line justified in plain words a non-technical buyer understands, with core work and add-ons kept apart.
- Locked before you build: scope, provider identity and payment phases are agreed first, and every built item maps to a payment.
- Honest pitch material: decks and profiles claim only what exists, with status chips for what is partial or next phase.
- Built from real projects: 20 failures that actually happened, each with its guard.
What it does
- Packaging first: finds the most sellable shape of the work (service, product, consulting or hybrid) and frames it by value, not by a list of screens.
- Pricing: build fee, retainer, add-ons and payment phases (deposit, milestone, handover), with your internal estimate kept separate from the client quote.
- Scope and quotation: a one-page scope plus a quote with reference, validity, named lines, assumptions, exclusions and your contact details.
- Pitch: proposal, deck, two-page capability profile or a paperwork bundle (SOW, MSA, NDA, change request), sized to the audience.
- Training offers and invoices: full training pack when the job is a course, and invoices that match the locked phases.
How it works
- Lock the inputs: client, scope, scale, dates, delivery mode and who is issuing the quote.
- Research and package the offer before any number.
- Give one price with per-line justification and payment phases.
- Draft the scope and quotation, then the pitch material the buyer asked for.
- Invoice against the locked phases and record what was agreed.
Frameworks & tools
Works in any agent that can write Markdown and render documents. Decks with reportlab, pptxgenjs or Marp; PDFs through your own PDF tool or the MAJI Brand PDF skill.
Use cases
- Freelancers and studios answering "how much would this cost?"
- Turning a finished app or website into a priced offer.
- Training and workshop proposals with a full course pack.
- Invoicing a project without the numbers drifting from the quote.
Known limitations
It does not set your rates for you; it structures and justifies the price you choose. Tax, levy and legal wording must be checked for your own country. Your rate card stays private and out of any public repo.
