How it works

The agent checks connectivity, the foreground app, Kodi status, installed add-ons and relevant logs before proposing one focused next step. Read-only operation is the default. Changes require the server's write opt-in, user authorization and a known viewing state. The skill tells the agent to respect refusals, verify changes and report the backup or undo path.

SKILL.md plus three reference guides covering troubleshooting recipes, tool access and setup. Instructions only; the nvidia-MCP server must be installed separately. Includes setup guidance when the tools are missing.

Requirements

A compatible agent with local stdio MCP support, nvidia-MCP, Python 3.11+, Android Platform Tools for Android devices, and one explicitly configured TV with ADB and Kodi HTTP access. The optional Kodi Manager companion enables additional layout and configuration tools.

Free and MIT-licensed. Created by the maintainer of nvidia-MCP; not affiliated with or endorsed by NVIDIA, Kodi or Amazon. Checked against nvidia-MCP 0.5.12. NVIDIA Shield is live-tested; Android TV, Google TV and Android-based Fire OS support has so far been tested with synthetic fixtures. Apple TV support is experimental. Vega OS Fire TV is unsupported. The package contains instructions, not a hosted service, and does not guarantee a fix. It does not help find or unlock unlicensed sources. Credentials, private backups and logs should stay private.
