About this skill
When you stop partway through a coding task, ask your agent to save a handoff. It follows your project's handoff convention and records what changed, which constraints still matter, what was checked, and what the next session should do. Each save preserves earlier entries.
When you return, ask your agent to resume from the handoff. It compares the saved state with the current workspace and flags changes that affect the next step. If the agent cannot write to the repository, it can prepare a draft for you to paste.
Saving requires write access to the project’s designated handoff file. If access is unavailable, the agent can return a draft. The skill runs when requested and follows the project’s own rules for when handoffs may be saved.
