Can you write the September report for Verde Yoga Studio? Here's what I pulled from the platforms, sorry it's messy.
September (all platforms together):
- followers 2,655
- reach 24,900
- engagements 1,520
- link clicks 260
- posts published 16
- enquiries that mentioned social: 9
August, same order: 2,480 / 18,400 / 1,290 / 210 / 14 posts / 6 enquiries
Split for September
Instagram: 1,980 followers (was 1,870), reach 19,800, engagements 1,250
Facebook: 675 followers (was 610), reach 5,100, engagements 270
Best posts in September
- 12 Sep, Reel, "3 poses for lower back pain" — reach 9,400, 180 saves, 45 link clicks
- 19 Sep, carousel, "What to expect in your first class" — reach 4,200, 95 saves
- 26 Sep, photo, "Meet Ana, our new teacher" — reach 3,100, 42 comments
Context: we launched the autumn timetable on 12 Sep. We tried 3 Reels this month, in August we only did 1. The studio owner keeps asking whether the engagement rate is going down, because Instagram showed her a lower number than last month.
Package is Recommended: 2 platforms, 12 posts a month, monthly report. I'm Léa, the studio owner is Marion.

Top 3 posts
| # | Post | Result | Why it worked |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 Sep · Reel · "3 poses for lower back pain" | 9,400 reach, 180 saves, 45 link clicks | Answers a specific pain point; saves push it to non-followers |
| 2 | 19 Sep · Carousel · "What to expect in your first class" | 4,200 reach, 95 saves | Removes the main doubt before a first visit |
| 3 | 26 Sep · Photo · "Meet Ana, our new teacher" | 3,100 reach, 42 comments | People reply to people, not to studios |
What we learned
The engagement rate did not really fall. Reach grew 35.3% while engagements grew 17.8%, so the rate dropped 0.9 points (7.0% to 6.1%). That is what normally happens when posts reach people who do not follow you yet: a bigger, colder audience. Followers, saves and enquiries all went up.
Reels did the heavy lifting. The 12 September Reel alone was 9,400 of 24,900 reach (38%). We published 3 Reels this month against 1 in August.
Useful posts get saved. The Reel and the "first class" carousel had 180 and 95 saves, far more than any other post, and the Reel alone brought 45 of the month's 260 link clicks.
- Facebook is small but steady: 5,100 reach and a 5.3% engagement rate, about a quarter of Instagram's reach.
Plan for next month
| Action | Why | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Publish 2 Reels a week, each answering one specific pain point | One Reel brought 38% of this month's reach | Léa |
| Repeat the "what to expect" format for the beginners' course | The carousel had the second-highest reach and strong saves | Léa |
| Keep the timetable link in bio and mention it in every Reel caption | Link clicks rose 23.8% in the month the new timetable launched | Léa |
| Send 3 short teacher clips (30-45 seconds) | Teacher content drove the most comments | Marion |
Decisions needed
- Confirm the October timetable by 5 October so the calendar can be finished.
To confirm before sending (delete before sending)
- Facebook's best post was not in the export; the cell says "not available" rather than a guess.
- Instagram and Facebook engagement rates are calculated from the splits you gave (1,250 ÷ 19,800 and 270 ÷ 5,100), so they round to 6.3% and 5.3%.
- "Enquiries mentioning social" comes from your count, not from platform analytics.
- September had 16 posts against a package of 12. Worth mentioning to Marion, or scaling back to what she pays for.
Subject: Verde Yoga, September: 9 enquiries from social, up from 6
Hi Marion,
September's report is attached. The short version:
- 9 enquiries mentioned social media, up from 6 in August, and reach grew 35.3%.
- The "3 poses for lower back pain" Reel reached 9,400 people on its own.
- About the engagement rate Instagram showed you: it moved from 7.0% to 6.1% because reach grew faster than engagement. That is normal when posts travel beyond your followers. Saves, followers and enquiries all rose.
Need from you: the October timetable by 5 October, so I can finish the calendar.
Happy to walk through it on a quick call.

What you get
About this skill
Paste this month's numbers and last month's numbers, however messy, and get a report a client can read.
What you get
- A headline sentence built around the client's goal, not vanity metrics
- A key-numbers table with every change recalculated from your figures
- Rates handled properly: engagement rate changes are shown in percentage points, not percent
- A per-platform table and a top-3-posts table with "why it worked"
- What we learned, each insight backed by a number
- Next month's plan with owners, and decisions needed from the client
- A report email under 150 words that matches the report
How it handles numbers
- Percent change = (this month − last month) ÷ last month × 100, rounded to one decimal
- Missing metrics are marked "not available", never estimated or filled in
- Platform percentages you paste are recalculated; if they differ, the skill says so
- A bad month is stated plainly, with the likely reason and the plan
What it will not do
- Invent, estimate or round numbers in your favour
- Claim causation from a single month of data
- Promise future results
