About this skill
When you are up a ladder or under a sink, the phone rings out and the customer rings the next firm. Missed Call Desk gives your agent a simple job: catch every missed call and turn it into a lead you can act on.
Setup takes a few minutes, one question at a time: business name, trades, country, the towns, postcodes or zip codes you cover, your local gas emergency number, your text-back line, opening hours and how you want emergency alerts.
When a call is missed, it drafts a short branded text-back with a safety line suited to your trade (for example the local gas emergency number you saved: 0800 111 999 in the UK, or your gas utility's line or 911/112 in the US and elsewhere). Once you approve it, it collects four things one question at a time: what needs doing, the address with postcode or zip, how urgent it is, and the best callback number.
Each lead is labelled Emergency, Same-day or Routine using clear rules (flooding, gas smell, sparks, no heating with someone vulnerable at home). Emergencies reach you at once on Slack, email, text or in chat. Everything else goes into a lead queue, and you get a short morning digest of who to ring back.
By default you approve every text. If you want, you can grant one narrow standing permission such as "auto-send the first text-back only", and everything else still waits for your yes.
