Q4 launch sync - Tue
Attendees: Priya (PM), Marcus (eng lead), Dana (marketing), Leo (support)
- Beta feedback: export to CSV is the #1 ask. Marcus thinks 2 sprints.
- Decided: CSV export ships in v2.4, PDF export pushed to Q1.
- Dana: launch blog post draft by Nov 8, needs final screenshots from eng
- Marcus to send final screenshots to Dana once staging is frozen
- Pricing page still shows old tiers - someone needs to fix before launch
- Leo: update help-center articles for CSV export, before launch day
- Open: do we announce PDF export on the roadmap page or stay quiet? Priya to check with leadership

Q4 Launch Sync (Tuesday): Follow-ups
Summary
The team met to plan the Q4 launch. CSV export was the top request from beta users, so it will ship in v2.4. Marcus estimates it at 2 sprints. PDF export moves to Q1. Launch is tentatively set for Nov 18 and depends on QA sign-off. Before launch, marketing will publish a blog post, support will update the help-center articles, and the pricing page needs to stop showing the old tiers. Still undecided: whether to put PDF export on the roadmap page, and who will fix the pricing page.
Decisions (quoted from the notes):
- "CSV export ships in v2.4, PDF export pushed to Q1."
The Nov 18 launch date is not on this list because the notes call it "tentatively Nov 18, depends on QA sign-off."
Action items
| Owner | Task | Deadline | Context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dana | Draft the launch blog post | Nov 8 | Needs Marcus's final screenshots first |
| Marcus | Send final screenshots to Dana | NO DATE (once staging is frozen) | Dana's blog draft depends on them |
| Leo | Update help-center articles for CSV export | Before launch day (tentatively Nov 18) | CSV ships in v2.4 |
| Priya | Ask leadership whether to announce PDF export on the roadmap page | NO DATE | PDF has moved to Q1 |
| UNASSIGNED | Replace the old tiers on the pricing page | Before launch (tentatively Nov 18) | Notes say "someone needs to fix" |
Follow-up drafts
To: Marcus · Subject: Q4 launch sync — final screenshots for Dana
Hi Marcus,
Thanks for Tuesday. One item for you: once staging is frozen, please send the final screenshots to Dana. She needs them for the launch blog post, which is due Nov 8.
To recap the decision: CSV export ships in v2.4 (your estimate was 2 sprints), and PDF export moves to Q1.
Thanks,

To: Dana · Subject: Q4 launch sync — blog post draft by Nov 8
Hi Dana,
Following up on Tuesday's launch sync. Your item is the launch blog post draft, due Nov 8. Marcus will send the final screenshots once staging is frozen.
Context for the post: CSV export, the #1 beta request, ships in v2.4. PDF export moves to Q1, and Priya is still checking with leadership on whether we mention it publicly. Launch is tentatively Nov 18, pending QA sign-off.
Thanks,

To: Leo · Subject: Q4 launch sync — CSV export help-center articles
Hi Leo,
Thanks for Tuesday. Your item: update the help-center articles for CSV export before launch day. Launch is tentatively Nov 18 but depends on QA sign-off, so the date could move. CSV export ships in v2.4, and PDF export has been pushed to Q1.
Thanks,

To: Priya · Subject: Q4 launch sync — PDF roadmap question for leadership
Hi Priya,
Following up on Tuesday's launch sync. Your item: check with leadership on whether we announce PDF export (now Q1) on the roadmap page or stay quiet.
Thanks,

Gaps to confirm before you send
I didn't fill any of these in myself
- Pricing page has no owner. I didn't write an email for it. Who should own it?
- Priya's leadership check has no date. Dana's Nov 8 draft might be a sensible cutoff, but the notes don't say so.
Staging freeze has no date. If the freeze comes too close to Nov 8, Dana's draft is blocked waiting on screenshots.
4. QA sign-off has no owner or date, and the launch date depends on it.
5.
Schedule fit. The notes don't say whether a 2-sprint CSV build fits before Nov 18. They also don't give the meeting's date, so I can't check it.
6.
Date check. If these dates are in 2026, Nov 8 is a Sunday. Worth confirming that's the intended due date for Dana.
I've checked that every owner is on the attendee list and every item comes from a line in your notes. Nothing has been saved or sent; these are drafts for you to review and send from your own mail client. Once you've filled the gaps, I can update the table and add a pricing-page email.

About this skill
For anyone who leaves a meeting with a page of scrawl and no clear owners. Paste the notes or a transcript; get back structured accountability you can forward.
What you get
- A 3-5 sentence summary suitable for forwarding.
- Decisions, quoted from the line in the notes that records them.
- An action-item table: Owner | Task | Deadline | Context.
- One short follow-up draft per owner, covering only that owner's items (under ~120 words each).
- A list of gaps to confirm before anything goes out.
What it refuses to do
- Invent owners, deadlines, or decisions. Tasks with no owner are marked
UNASSIGNED, tasks with no dateNO DATE, and both are listed back to you as questions. - Assign work to anyone not on the attendee list.
- Send anything. Drafts stay drafts until you send them from your own mail client.
- Run a full pipeline on a 1:1 with one next step; it offers a two-line summary instead.
