    Mastering Bible

Example session with this skill installed

Master my mix (mix_v3.wav) for streaming. Measure it first, tell me what you'll change and why, then do it and prove it hit the target.

    • Read your context and instructions
    • Compiled the mastering bible

Example session (illustrative; every number in a real run comes from measuring your own file).

    1. Measure
I measured mix_v3.wav with ffmpeg: integrated LUFS, true peak, loudness range (LRA) and the share of energy below 60 Hz. I compared each one to the streaming target you picked and noted which were off.

    2. Plan, with the reason for each move

    1. Low-end cleanup first, because the sub energy reading was high and it would push the limiter too hard.
    2. A gentle broad EQ tilt, judged at matched loudness so "louder" isn't mistaken for "better".
    3. Light glue compression, only if the LRA reading shows the mix needs it.
    4. A true-peak limiter last, set to the target's ceiling.
One change at a time, each one checked before the next.

    3. Apply and read back
I made each move in your DAW and read the actual parameter values back, so the plan and the session match.

    4. Bounce and re-measure
I bounced master_v1.wav and measured it again. The report lists each target next to the measured value with pass or fail. Anything that failed gets one adjustment and a v2 bounce, never a silent overwrite.

    5. Delivery checks
Sample rate, bit depth, dither applied only once at the final bit-depth reduction, and the file name matches the version.

    Next steps

    • Ask for a loud or Instagram version from the same mix.
    • Ask for the Atmos checklist if you're delivering ADM BWF.

Connects securely to your tools. The creator never sees your data.

    About this skill

One hub skill with nine focused sub-skills covering EQ and tonal balance, dynamics, loudness and metering, monitoring, digital theory and dither, restoration, M/S and Atmos, and delivery. Your agent reads only the part a task needs.

In autonomous mode it runs a disciplined loop. It measures LUFS, true peak, LRA and sub-bass energy with ffmpeg, then plans ordered moves with the rule behind each one. It applies them through your DAW and reads every value back, bounces versioned files, and re-measures against streaming, loud, Instagram or Atmos targets. It enforces the gates pros use: matched-loudness judgements, one change at a time, and no limiter on the Atmos master. It also includes Logic Pro specific notes and delivery file checks.

    Use cases

    • Master a mix to a streaming or loud target with measured proof
    • Diagnose harshness, mud or excess sub energy before processing
    • Prepare and verify a Dolby Atmos ADM BWF deliverable
    • Get reliable answers on dither, true peak, LUFS and M/S
