About this skill
Docs rot silently. Links break quietly.
md-link-checker parses every [text](target) link and reference definition in your Markdown files and validates the ones that break silently: relative files that no longer exist, directory links that point at the wrong place, and in-page anchors (#heading) with no matching heading.
It reports
- A one-line summary: checkable links, ok, broken, skipped
- Broken links as
file:line -> target -> reason -> fix - Optional external check (
--external) that HEAD-requests http(s) URLs
What it catches that a spell-checker doesn't
