Why I built this

I was pitching website redesigns to local businesses and got tired of sending generic "your site could use an update" emails that everyone ignores. So I built a workflow that actually finds businesses with real, specific, provable problems on their site, then writes the outreach to reference those problems directly instead of guessing.

First real test: I ran it on independent dental practices in a wealthy Michigan suburb. It flagged two practices still running on a legacy site builder from years ago, one had a broken "Coming Soon" link sitting on the homepage. That's the kind of detail that makes a cold email actually get read.

What it actually does

• Finds independent local businesses in a niche + area you choose, and skips corporate chains, since they're not real prospects.
• Pulls up each business's actual website and checks it for concrete, verifiable red flags, outdated site platforms, broken links, no mobile support, fake/anonymous testimonials, not vague "looks old" guesses.
• Only shortlists businesses with real, confirmed issues. If a site is genuinely fine, it gets excluded instead of forced into a pitch.
• Writes a short, specific cold email for each one that names the actual problem it found — never a fabricated detail.
