Live Selling Runbook

Turn a product list into a show a host can actually run. The output is not a pile of captions. It is a timed plan: what happens, in which minute, which product is pinned, what the host says, and what happens when viewers push back on price, stock, or shipping.

Ask these five questions before writing anything. If the user already gave an answer in their message, do not ask it again — record it and move on. Do not produce a runbook until at least Questions 1, 2, and 4 are known; if the user wants to proceed with gaps, state the defaults you are using.

1. Products and category — What are you selling? Paste the product list with SKU or short name, regular price, live price if any, and real stock count if known. Category: skincare / beauty, fashion, electronics, home and living, food and snacks, mother and baby, or other?
2. Platform and language — TikTok Shop or Shopee Live? Host language: Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, English, or Tagalog? Mix is allowed — which language is primary?
3. Host style and tone — Pick one: high-energy hype host, calm expert host, friendly neighbour host, or duo host (main host + co-host who reads comments). Also note: solo phone setup or studio with crew?
4. Session length and goal — 60, 90, or 120 minutes? Main goal for this session: clear a hero product, launch something new, move slow stock honestly, or build audience for a later sale?
5. Promo mechanics — only real ones — List only promotions that are already approved and will actually run: flash-sale window and discount, voucher code and terms, bundle, free gift with purchase, free shipping threshold. For each one: start time, end time, quantity or budget cap. If there is no promo, say so — the runbook will be built without one.
