KISS Changelog: Record It While You Remember

A changelog written in a batch at the end of a sprint is reconstruction, and it shows. This makes the entry part of landing the change, before the unit of work gets called done.

It scales to the project with two tiers, so a small repo does not carry enterprise ceremony, and it has an entry-quality bar so the log says what changed and why instead of restating the diff in prose.

The argument underneath is that writing the entry is a measure-twice step: if you cannot say why the change was made, that is information about the change.

Where this came from

Deliberon is a Windows desktop app that runs a council of AI agents on a hard decision and hands back a Decision Record: dissent preserved, every claim marked as proved, asserted, or estimated.

KISS is the discipline Deliberon's own codebase is held to. This is the part that writes down why.
