Kalshi — prediction market trading via the official API

This skill manages Kalshi event-contract trades through the official REST API: discover events and markets, inspect orderbooks, view balance and positions, and place and cancel orders. No bundled CLI — public endpoints need no auth, and portfolio endpoints use Kalshi's three-header request signing.

Authentication signs timestamp + METHOD + path with RSA-PSS-SHA256 and sends KALSHI-ACCESS-KEY, KALSHI-ACCESS-TIMESTAMP, and KALSHI-ACCESS-SIGNATURE. Credentials (API key UUID and RSA private key) come from environment variables at runtime, never hardcoded or logged. KALSHI_ENV switches between the demo exchange and production, and the demo base URL makes dry runs easy.

The economics are stated up front: prices are in cents from 1 to 99, every contract pays $1.00 if correct and $0 if wrong, and the agent must always compute and state total cost (count × price) and maximum payout before any order.

The guardrail is absolute: before placing any order, the agent presents ticker, side (YES/NO), action (buy/sell), count, price, and total cost, and requires the user's explicit confirmation — never skipped, never batched silently. It also verifies a position exists before selling, and on 401/403 checks the signature construction (path without query string, right environment) before blaming the key.
