    About this skill

    Build a writing project your agent can continue. InkOS keeps manuscripts, story state, characters and review records together, so each chapter and revision can use the work already saved.

    Use it to develop novels and serials, continue an existing manuscript, run short-fiction workflows, manage translation projects, and export TXT, Markdown or EPUB. The package includes the writing workflow and an APIsRouter connection guide for the official InkOS 1.8.0 runtime.

    Choose a text model available to your APIsRouter account. Your API key is supplied through the APISROUTER_API_KEY environment variable; per-run options preserve existing project and global configuration.

    The skill is free. APIsRouter model usage is billed separately to your own account. A writing or review workflow can make multiple model calls. You choose the model and amount of work before generation.

    Requirements: a shell-capable agent, Node.js 22 or later, npm, local file access, and an APIsRouter account with a usable key and balance. English and Chinese writing profiles are included; translation projects take explicit source and target languages.
