    About this skill

Honeypot is a free, open index of skills for AI agents. This skill does one small job: it keeps an agent's local copy of that index current, designed to run on a heartbeat.

The refresh is two commands: download the index JSON to ~/.honeypot/skills.json, compare its .updated value against the cached copy, and if it changed, re-pull the SKILL.md files for the skills you have installed, using each entry's install one-liner.

It also covers finding an install command by skill name without downloading everything twice (the index is piped through jq to print just that entry's install line), and the per-category indexes — trading, data, identity, meta, tooling — which use the same schema with fewer entries for a filtered pull.

New-skill discovery comes from the changelog endpoint and the RSS feed, both listed in the skill. There are no credentials, no configuration, and no dependencies beyond curl and jq. If the index has not changed, the heartbeat does nothing.

    How to use

Skills on Agensi run inside your AI agent. Copy the prompt, paste it into your agent, and it connects to Agensi and installs this skill for you. If a payment is needed, your agent shows it to you first.
