    Google Calendar Event CSV Check

Example session with this skill installed

Use the bundled synthetic file examples/review.csv shown below. Run google-calendar-csv-check examples/review.csv after the README installation and return the full JSON receipt. Do not edit the input, access an account or import/upload anything.

Synthetic input, measured local CLI result

Executed using the unchanged buyer package v0.1.1 on Windows with Python 3.14. This demonstrates the installed CLI, not automatic agent activation or a native platform test. Input uses UTF-8 and LF newlines; a different save encoding/line ending changes the hash.

    Interpretation and next step

Logical row 2 contains February 29, 2026, which is not a valid calendar date. Review the intended date, correct a working copy and rerun. Timezone and existing events are outside this check.

The CLI returned exit code 1 (REVIEW). A separate normal synthetic input returned exit code 0 (PASS_CHECKED_RULES) in the same exact-package replay. A local pass covers only the documented rules; complete the platform's own review before import/upload.

The JSON above is the complete terminal output. No CSV export, account connection, correction or upload was produced by the checker.

    About this skill

Before you install: Windows 10/11 on a genuinely local drive; macOS/Linux filesystem inputs are unsupported. Python 3.11+ is required. This is a downloadable source ZIP with a Python CLI and Agent Skill instructions, not a hosted service or one-click desktop app. A terminal (or a compatible agent allowed to run local Python) is required. Prepare trusted pip, setuptools>=68 and wheel for source installation. The core CLI uses only the Python standard library. No connected service account or API key is needed for the local checks; AI assistant/provider fees are separate. Optional local MCP requires its separately installed trusted SDK and local root configuration; it is not required for CLI use.

How to use: Extract the whole ZIP, install from its folder using the README command, and run google-calendar-csv-check <local-file>. Review the JSON receipt, correct any issue yourself in a separate working copy, then rerun before the platform's own manual review. The checker does not change or import your input. Its receipt is printed to the terminal; save it separately if you need a report file.

Short description: Check Google Calendar CSV dates, times, required headers and repeated event rows before manual import. Get a local JSON receipt; no Google account connection.

Description: Calendar CSV imports fail or put events at the wrong dates; inspect dates, times, required headers and repeated events before import. Checks exact Subject/Start Date headers, supported date/time and True/False fields, backwards end boundaries, all-day/time conflicts and repeated same event tuples. Optional dates/times may be absent. Newlines and quoted commas are supported. Includes a Skill, independent Python core/CLI, optional local stdio MCP adapter, setup guide and sample inputs/receipts. Read-only; no remote account access or automatic changes.

Buyer requirements: Windows10/11 on a genuinely local drive; POSIX/macOS/Linux filesystem inputs refused. Trusted Python3.11+ and setuptools68+ for source installation; optional mcp>=2,<3 SDK. Core/CLI runtime is standard-library only. File1000000 bytes, 20000 rows,64 columns,65536 characters/record,128 visible findings. A local result does not guarantee platform acceptance. Local selected-rule check only; no guarantee of remote import. Timezone, recurrence, reminders, account state and existing events are not checked. Dates use MM/DD/YYYY; supported times are 12-hour AM/PM or 24-hour HH:MM. The 1000000-byte cap is conservative; Google documents a 1MB import limit. Native platform validation is a free alternative. No affiliation or endorsement.

Compatibility evidence: Measured CLI examples used Windows and Python 3.14. Agent activation and every host/version combination have not each been tested.
