    About this skill

Turn your photo, original idea or existing grid into an editable fuse-bead pattern, with color codes, exact bead counts and printable board charts. Fuse Bead Studio is a complete free English skill for square-grid, two-dimensional bead crafts.

A collection with room to make it your own

Start with 96 original patterns across 24 practical scenario families and 33 design directions, then change the subject, colors, size and individual cells to suit your supplies. The collection includes beginner charms, pets, wildlife, botanicals, food, coastal keepsakes, celestial art, retro objects, names, gifts, seasonal decorations, folk and quilt motifs, geometric art, decorative coasters, landscapes and larger mosaics. Wedding tables, party favors, garden markers, classroom activities, workspace signs, community swaps, travel souvenirs and milestone keepsakes extend it beyond hobby icons.

The library contains 83 single-piece designs, four intentionally separate multi-piece sets and nine connected mosaics. They are original editable grids, not flattened AI illustrations or the same layout recolored repeatedly.

From a picture to the actual cells

Compare a smaller, simpler pattern with a more detailed version before choosing the bead count. Conversion supports contain/cover composition, transparency, a color limit, optional dithering and restriction to colors you own. CIEDE2000 matching uses a source-checked 64-color opaque Artkal S reference subset; you can also import your own palette. Manufacturer screen RGB is approximate physical color, and this is not the complete Artkal catalog or a brand-affiliated product.

Edit cells with a brush, eraser or numeric grid controls; undo changes; resize deliberately; mirror; and remap colors while retaining history. Review exact demand, optional spare allowance, stock and shortages separately. Unknown stock is not treated as zero. Connectivity checks identify separate components, diagonal-only contacts and one-bead articulation points for review.

The gallery shows real authored grids and generated charts. The photo-conversion demonstrations use a clearly identified synthetic corgi image: a 48 × 48 study uses 2,304 beads and 16 colors; a 72 × 72 study uses 5,184 beads and 23 colors. These studies are separate from the 96 original patterns.

    Outputs designed for the pegboard

Keep an exact editable JSON master, an SVG with individual cells, a PNG preview and a materials CSV. The Python exporter builds A4 and US Letter vector PDFs, integrity records and a checked kit ZIP. Placement pages use declared bead pitch, global coordinates, board seams, stable symbols, a visible distinction between white beads and empty cells, and a 50 mm calibration ruler. Small-pitch projects receive a separately labeled enlarged reading reference.

An optional generated local editor provides bead, pixel and symbol views, editing and downloads. Its print export is self-contained HTML; native PDF generation uses the Python exporter. Save your project before closing: cloud storage and automatic saving are not included.

    Frequently asked questions

    1. Is the complete skill free?
Yes. The 24-file English text core includes the instructions, helper code, editor resources, palette references and all 96 original editable grids. There is no paid API or seller subscription required by these helpers. Original code, written instructions and original grid artwork use the MIT license; manufacturer reference data, your source-image rights and third-party software retain their own terms. Generated example binaries are not part of the text core.

    2. Which tools does my agent need?
The JavaScript grid engine has no package dependencies. CLI photo decoding needs Node.js and an already available sharp package. Native PDF kits need Python, Pillow and ReportLab. Building the optional standalone HTML editor uses standard-library Python. Availability depends on your agent's runtime; software is not installed automatically.

    3. Are my original photos preserved?
The CLI copies the original bytes into a separate source folder and records their SHA-256 fingerprint. Browser imports stay local to that browser and are not uploaded by the editor. Saved project JSON contains the grid, source filename and fingerprint, not the original photo bytes: keep that photo separately. Review filenames, notes and history before sharing a project.

    4. Can I use another bead brand or only colors I own?
Yes, by providing an appropriate custom palette and choosing allowed colors. Keep brand, series, bead size and board pitch together. Imported colors are not relabeled as official manufacturer codes. Physical color samples and compatible supplies still need checking; arbitrary brand mixing is not guaranteed.

    5. Can I follow the printout at actual size?
The digital placement pages retain the declared pitch. Print at 100%, disable Fit to page, measure the 50 mm ruler and compare the result with your real board before starting. Physical printing, board fit, bead assembly, fusing and strength have not been tested. Connectivity checks are digital review aids, not a guarantee of a durable finished object. Follow the manufacturer's age and hot-tool handling guidance.

    6. What has actually been checked?
All 96 saved original grids and their material counts were independently checked. Local builds produced 192 native PDFs for those patterns, plus four PDFs for the two photo studies. Representative PDF pages and desktop/mobile editor views were visually reviewed; actual edited JSON, CSV and print-HTML downloads were reconciled. Separate browser printing, literal local-file reopening of the standalone editor and physical making remain unverified. This is square-grid 2D work; shaped/hex boards, 3D assemblies, automatic background removal and guaranteed portrait likeness are outside its scope.

    7. How does Agensi delivery work?
The skill runs with your agent's available capabilities. Agensi buyer-side auxiliary-file access/execution and generated-artifact retrieval have not yet been verified. A successful local build does not establish marketplace delivery compatibility. Generated projects and charts are distinct from protected Skill source, and must use the output storage and retrieval permitted by your host. Loading the main instruction file alone does not verify the full multi-file workflow; no independent Skill download or seller-hosted service is promised.
