    See it in action

    You say

I've applied to 180 jobs in the last two months. I got about 10 interviews but no offers. I'm starting to think no company wants me, and maybe I should give up on this career. Help me figure out what is actually happening and what I should do next.

    Your agent does

Situation Map You submitted about 180 applications in two months, received roughly 10 interviews, and have not yet received an offer. Evidence Check FACT: Your applications are generating interviews. FACT: Those interviews have not yet converted into offers. ASSUMPTION/FEAR: “No company wants me.” The current evidence does not support that conclusion. Key Unknowns Where in the interview process are you losing conversion? Are you targeting roles that match your strongest experience? How does your response rate compare with the current market for similar roles? Control Map You control your targeting, resume positioning, interview preparation, networking, and application strategy. You can influence—but cannot control—employer decisions and market conditions. Next Three Actions Review your 10 interviews and identify the stage where most processes ended. Compare the job descriptions of those roles to your strongest experience and achievements. Adjust one part of the funnel at a time rather than simply sending more applications. Reassessment Point Reassess after the next 20 targeted applications or 5 interviews using the revised strategy.

    About this skill

    The problem

When setbacks, repeated failures, or uncertainty continue for longer than expected, people often get stuck between emotional reactions, incomplete information, and unclear next steps.

The problem is not always the situation itself. Often, it is the combination of unanswered questions, assumptions, worst-case predictions, and uncertainty about what can actually be controlled.

    What it does

    • Separates observed facts from fears, assumptions, and emotional interpretations.
    • Grades important claims using a five-level evidence model: Verified, Strongly Supported, Weak Signal, Unknown, and Assumption/Fear.
    • Identifies the 1 to 3 unanswered questions that would most change the user's decision, emotional state, or next action.
    • Maps the situation into Control, Influence, and Acceptance so the user stops spending energy on factors they cannot change.
    • Generates practical options and up to three concrete next actions.
    • Identifies secondary opportunities only when they genuinely exist, without forcing a positive interpretation.
    • Sets a reassessment point so the same uncertainty is not repeatedly analyzed without new evidence.

    Two reset modes

Quick Reset is designed for smaller or more bounded problems such as a failed interview, an exam setback, a customer complaint, a project issue, or a decision that has become over-analyzed.

Deep Reset is designed for larger, repeated, or more complex situations such as layoffs, prolonged job-search frustration, relationship setbacks, injury-related uncertainty after professional care, repeated product failures, or major life disruptions.

    Two communication styles

Direct / Analytical focuses on clarity, evidence, assumptions, tradeoffs, and action.

Gentle / Supportive provides the same reasoning and conclusions with a softer communication style.

    Tone changes. Truth does not.

Why this beats prompting it yourself

Standard AI conversations often drift toward generic reassurance, excessive agreement, or open-ended discussion.

From Panic to Plan follows a repeatable structure. It forces the conversation to distinguish facts from predictions, identify what is genuinely unknown, find the highest-leverage questions, and move toward action instead of endless analysis.

The framework is especially useful for people who respond to uncertainty by wanting to understand what is actually happening before deciding what to do next.

    Important boundary

This Skill is a structured thinking and decision-support framework. It is not therapy, emergency care, medical treatment, legal advice, or financial advice.

When professional or urgent intervention is required, that comes first. The framework is intended to help organize thinking, uncertainty, decisions, and next steps around the situation.
