FORTRESS Motte: Assets Nobody Can Confiscate

An audience on a platform is held at that platform's discretion. An audience on your own list is held by you. This sorts your assets by exactly that question and sets the build order.

The growth rule is motte first. There's a test for whether a given asset qualifies, an anti-pattern section covering the usual mistake, and a read-and-write spec for the motte file with Held and Wanted sections, so the asset list is a document rather than an intention.

Use it when deciding what to build first, or when platform dependence has started to feel like a risk.

This is one of the seven FORTRESS skills. It reads and writes the shared .monkeys/ pack, so it works on its own and works better alongside the rest.
