Figma Orient

First move on a Figma file or URL that is new to the session. Maps the file and saves the map to docs/figma-map.md (or the agent's memory), so later sessions start from the map instead of walking the file again. Read-only on the canvas. Outside Figma it writes the map file, and adds it to .gitignore when the repository is public and the Figma file is not.

What the map records:

• File key, file type, scope walked and date
• Pages with purpose and status (canonical, WIP, archive)
• Canonical screens with node id, page and frame size
• Design system source: local components or a library, variables, styles
• WIP zones and flags, such as a view-only file or a truncated read
• Project rules (layer naming, required states, locale), only from the project's docs or the user, never from the canvas

Requires the figma-canon skill installed next to it (it links to ../figma-canon/references/). Primary read path: figma-console-mcp with its Desktop Bridge plugin; the official Figma MCP server works for small reads. Connection problems go to figma-bridge-doctor.
