ELYRAON Python Repo Auditor

When you inherit or review a Python codebase, a high-level overview only goes so far. ELYRAON Python Repo Auditor goes deeper on Python-specific structure: it parses your source with the standard-library ast module and reports import relationships, function-level metrics and configuration gaps, with relative file paths and line numbers for each finding.

You point it at a local repository path. A bundled Python helper inventories the files (within a limit of 5,000 files or 20MB), parses them statically, and returns a structured JSON report with a schema, so each review cue is tied to specific evidence you can check.

What it does

• AST analysis inspects code structure for complexity and structural patterns.
• Import mapping: maps local import relationships, including local import-cycle candidates and conditional import edges.
• Function-level metrics report function statistics and code density, so unusually large or complex code can be reviewed.
• Configuration review looks at packaging, CI and test setup for gaps.
• Evidence linking gives relative paths and line numbers; snippets and credentials are withheld from reports.

Static, not runtime

It only reads and parses files. It does not execute your code, run your tests, type-check, scan for security vulnerabilities, or modify anything. Findings are review cues, not proof of defects, and an empty report does not prove a repository is well built. Use them to decide where to look first before maintaining or refactoring; the auditor does not fix code. See Known Limitations.
