Ekphrasis: Image Prompts That Are Not Obviously AI

Generated art reads as generated for reasons you can name and fix. This is prompt authorship, not image editing. It works for ChatGPT, Flux, Midjourney, DALL-E, or whatever you are pointing at.

It carries six principles, a legibility tell that explains why a prompt produced mush, and a four-move fix ordered strongest first, so you try the thing most likely to work instead of rerolling and hoping. It also covers animation: why frame sheets jitter and refuse to hold a consistent subject, and what to change in the prompt rather than in the model.

There is an honest-limits section covering what prompt wording genuinely cannot control, because some of what people blame on prompting is the model.
