DSH Showcase: Verifiable Delivery Reports
Example session with this skill installed
Use dsh-showcase on this Node.js totals fixture. Review the npm test plan, capture real Git and test evidence, and create an English whale-girl delivery report. Preserve unavailable evidence and do not claim browser validation.
- Read your context and instructions
- Compiled the dsh showcase
- Generated the document
Summary
This example was actually captured on 2026-10-17 from a small Node.js backend fixture named showcase-skill-verification-demo. It verifies integer-cent totals, empty input, invalid amounts and overflow. It is an example project, not a claim about your repository.
One verification command ran: npm test → node --test. Exit code:
0. Four tests passed; none failed or were skipped. Git recorded three untracked files; line diffs are unavailable for untracked files and were not invented. There is no user interface in this fixture, so screenshots were not captured and no browser acceptance is claimed.

Retained command output
The report JSON and offline HTML also retain the command output:
- sums non-negative integer cents — passed
- handles empty input — passed
- rejects negative and fractional amounts — passed
- rejects an unsafe total — passed
Tests: 4; pass: 4; fail: 0; cancelled: 0; skipped: 0; todo: 0.
Deliverables and next steps
Open .showcase/layout-poster.html offline to inspect the themed report. Read .showcase/layout-summary.md for the handoff and .showcase/report.json for the machine-readable receipts. Before sharing, review them for sensitive data; zero automatic redactions is not a privacy guarantee. To create a report for your own project, install the free complete Skill ZIP and run the reviewed workflow against that project's explicit directory.

About this skill
Evidence, not just a success message
DSH Showcase turns a coding agent's real Git changes, test receipts and optional screenshots into a reviewable local delivery report. This is the free Skill edition, published by the author of the original open-source DSH Showcase plugin.
Free & open source: Get DSH Showcase on GitHub for the complete Skill download, installation guide, examples and release updates.
If DSH Showcase is useful to you, star the repository to help other developers discover it. For bugs and feature requests, use GitHub Issues.
What you get
- A JSON evidence record, a Markdown handoff summary and a self-contained HTML report that opens offline.
- Real commands, exit codes, durations and retained output; bounded Git diffs where available.
- Industrial-editorial Dijiang and playful blue whale-girl themes, with English and Chinese output.
- Honest failed and incomplete states. Missing Git, missing tests, stale evidence or absent required screenshots are not dressed up as success.
Use it
Install the complete Skill ZIP into your terminal-capable agent, then ask: "Use dsh-showcase to report what changed and what passed. Review the test plan first." The workflow is init → plan → capture → render. Capture requires an explicit execution flag after the agent reviews the configured commands. Existing configuration and malformed reports are not silently overwritten.
Requirements and limits
Node.js 22.19+ or 24+, a terminal, and the target project's test tools. Git is needed for Git evidence. No DSH server, API key or npm install is needed after installation. The helper does not capture screenshots itself: use your agent's authorized browser tools when visual evidence is relevant. Reports stay local unless you choose to share them. Configured commands run with your user permissions and may modify files or use the network; they are not sandboxed. Review reports for secrets before sharing, because redaction is best effort. A passing report means its recorded checks passed, not that every possible behavior is proven. Terminal-enabled SKILL.md clients can use the package; text-only/MCP delivery of instructions still requires installing the complete runtime ZIP.
Open source
Free to use. Skill version 1.0.0 reuses the 0.1.8 report engine. MIT source, with separate included illustration and dependency notices. For installation, customization and issues, visit https://github.com/DoveLi-Gu/dsh-showcase.
Both gallery images are fresh desktop captures of reports generated by the free Skill against the dsh-showcase source project on 2026-10-17, using real Git changes and test receipts: Blue Big Fish first, Dijiang second. They are not screenshots of the backend fixture used in the text example or proof of a customer project.
