Deus is an approve-one-by-one website wizard. Give it a website name and it walks you through the first brand decisions — purpose, industry & audience, brand personality, and a contrast-checked color direction — each offered as curated options you approve, or override with your own answer. The result is deus/brief.json: a single, structured source of truth for the project.

What it does today (v0.1.1)

A guided wizard: four approved decisions → a clean brief.json
Options are designed from your earlier answers, never a fixed template
Color directions come with real WCAG AA contrast numbers (measured, not guessed)
A numbered-list fallback when the interactive picker isn't available

Honest scope

Deus does not generate website code yet. The full 12-step wizard and the build engine are on the public roadmap — this is the free, early foundation, not a finished site generator. Steps not yet asked are tracked in status.pending, never faked.

Best in Claude Code (native interactive question picker). Runs in any SKILL.md-compatible agent (Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, …) via a numbered-list fallback. No runtime, no network access, no build step — it only writes one local file.
