    Dead Archive → Topic Pipeline

Example session with this skill installed

My notes folder has years of clippings and I still never know what to write. Here are four files. Inventory them, and tell me what I can actually publish — not vague "content ideas", actual angles with evidence.

    • Read your context and instructions
    • Compiled the dead archive topic

Step 1 — Inventory (real script output, not a mockup)

    $ python scripts/inventory_notes.py ./notes
    扫到 4 个文件,入表 0 条(新增 0 条,跳过碎片 4 个)
      被跳过的(低于 --min-chars 200,不静默丢):
        · 2025-03-ai-cs-rollout.md(99 字符)
        · 2025-05-pricing-notes.txt(75 字符)
        · 2025-08-archive-research.md(61 字符)
        · 2025-09-misc.md(8 字符)
      觉得丢多了就调小阈值:--min-chars 100
    已写出: ./盘点表.csv

All four are short notes, so the default 200-character floor calls them fragments. Notice what the script does

not do: it does not silently drop them. It names every skipped file, and the floor is a flag:

    $ python scripts/inventory_notes.py ./notes --min-chars 80
    扫到 4 个文件,入表 1 条(新增 1 条,跳过碎片 3 个)
        · 2025-05-pricing-notes.txt(75 字符)
        · 2025-08-archive-research.md(61 字符)
        · 2025-09-misc.md(8 字符)

The CSV it produces (judgement columns left blank on purpose):

    编号文件名标题字数日期一句话可复用论点标签状态
    S0012025-03-ai-cs-rollout.mdAI

Step 2 — Tag by reusable argument, not by source

This is the step that decides whether the archive stays dead. Two notes, tagged two ways:

素材By source (dead)By reusable argument (live)

Now they share a tag. Source-tagging keeps them in separate drawers forever; argument-tagging puts them in the same drawer — which is the only place a cross can happen.

    Step 3 — Cross

The matrix pairs tags and asks one question of each pair: what can I say now that neither note says alone?

交叉Single-note readingAfter crossing (only you can write this)
可量化收益 × 落地失败原因the numbers / the reasonsThe projects that survived differ in one respect: someone aligned real data first, before going live

Neither row exists in any single note. That is what crossing buys, and it is why the pipeline generates topics instead of waiting for inspiration.

    Step 4 — Topic cards

Angle: the same failure mode shows up in customer service and in knowledge management — nobody fed it real business facts

    • Backed by: S001, S004

Why it is yours: the four-hour detail of walking 120 Q&As one by one with the owner cannot be generated by anyone who did not sit through it

    • Angle: the single shared predictor of failure across both projects
    • Evidence: 41% → 9%; the archive that produced nothing until it was re-tagged by argument
    • Backed by: S001, S002, S004

    What this does not do

It generates topics, not finished articles. Crossing only helps if the archive has substance. And the inventory script reads plain text/markdown/csv — it is not a scraper for locked platforms.

    About this skill

Stop letting your note archives and bookmarks become a "digital graveyard." Most content creators fail because they store notes by source rather than by reusable arguments, leading to an empty page when it is time to write. This skill transforms stagnant clippings and old articles into a high-yield topic pipeline by forcing data intersections.

    What it does

    • Inventory indexing scans your raw notes to extract core arguments and reusable data points.
    • Argument-based tagging replaces source-based folders with functional labels like "trust costs" or "conversion rates."
    • Logic clustering groups scattered notes into thematic piles to identify content density.
    • Cross-pollination analysis applies six specific formulas to find conflicts or synergies between notes.
    • Topic card generation produces structured briefs including unique anchors that AI cannot hallucinate.

    How it works

    1. Inventory: Run the scan on your note directory to build a structured index of headlines and core arguments.
    2. Cluster: Categorize the index into logical piles based on functional tags.
    3. Cross: Apply the intersection matrix to find "Hedge," "Overlay," or "Translation" opportunities between note pairs.
    4. Produce: Generate finalized topic cards ready for the editorial calendar.

    Frameworks & tools

Works with Markdown-based note systems, local text archives, and structured clipping exports. Includes a Python script for directory scanning and metadata extraction.

Why this beats prompting it yourself

Generic prompts often just summarize single articles, leading to derivative content. This skill enforces a "two-source minimum" for every topic, ensuring your output is a synthesis of ideas rather than a simple rewrite.

    Use cases

    • Turn a disorganized folder of 500+ web clippings into 20 unique newsletter topics.
    • Repurpose published articles by finding new intersections with recent industry news.
    • Maintain a consistent weekly publishing schedule without starting from a blank page.

    Known limitations

Requires notes to be in plain text or Markdown format. The initial tagging of "core arguments" requires human oversight to ensure high-quality intersections.

    How to use

Skills on Agensi run inside your AI agent. Copy the prompt, paste it into your agent, and it connects to Agensi and installs this skill for you. If a payment is needed, your agent shows it to you first.
