What you can do

- Extract text, run OCR, transcribe audio and chain tools using returned file handles.
Setup and dependencies
This ZIP contains SKILL.md guidance and references. It requires the separate, MIT-licensed DamnPDFs MCP bridge, Node.js 22+, an MCP-capable client and a connected browser tab. Follow the installation guide. The Codex plugin already includes equivalent file-tool guidance.
Pair an approved, preferably empty workspace through Agent access. Use only files selected for the task, inspect actual results, and export to an approved path. No DamnPDFs account is required.
Privacy and practical limits
The paired tab must remain connected. Active sessions can renew while connected; closing the browser can interrupt access. Browser document retention is at most four hours. Local imports through the bridge upload selected bytes to temporary cloud storage; cloud copies expire within one hour or are removed earlier on acknowledgement or clearing. See the privacy policy.
Scanned text may need OCR. Office fonts and layout can vary. A visible signature is not certificate signing. Compression depends on the source file. Verify outputs before sharing them. The platform tools are free; optional external AI uses your own provider and provider charges may apply.
