Consistency checks

About this skill
A structured way to reflect on career fit
CVOpenMic is a free, self-contained SKILL.md package with two separate workflows: optional Bazi (八字 / Four Pillars) career reflection, and evidence-based resume review. You can use the Bazi workflow without uploading a resume or job description.
Bazi career mirror
Start with an existing Four Pillars chart. The skill checks the supplied symbols, distinguishes traditional rules from interpretations, and translates a structural reading into work-style questions to test in real life.
- Follow a structured sequence: chart facts and environment, valid relationships, useful-element hypotheses (取用), working chains (做功), resource ownership (归属), and real-work checks.
- Receive a main interpretation, an alternative interpretation, counterevidence, and a small practical task to test a career hypothesis.
- Keep an unknown birth hour unknown; do not invent missing chart information. Birthday-to-chart conversion requires a reliable calendar tool and is not included.
- Separate user feedback, teaching anecdotes, traditional claims, and the agent's own inferences. Do not present retrospective stories as proven prediction accuracy.
An optional offline Python script checks ten-god mappings, hidden stems, stem/branch consistency, roots, and the actual members of relationship candidates. It does not calculate a chart from a birthday, determine useful elements automatically, or predict career outcomes.
Evidence-based resume review
Review Chinese or English resumes, tailor them to a job description, and rewrite supported experience without inventing employers, qualifications, metrics, or achievements. Resume evidence and Bazi reflection remain separate; birth information is not used to score candidates or make hiring decisions.
What is included
The package includes SKILL.md, eight reference guides, the offline chart-audit script, agent metadata, and the MIT license. It is an agent skill package, not a standalone Bazi website or a bundled model subscription. Required references are included; no private case library is needed.
Important boundaries
Bazi is a traditional cultural framework, not a scientifically validated method for determining the right job. Treat its output as optional self-reflection, and make career decisions using demonstrated skills, interests, experience, job requirements, and practical constraints. The skill does not promise wealth, job offers, medical outcomes, or deterministic fortune-telling.
