About this skill
Managing the details of a 1000-chapter manga or an expansive RPG narrative from memory is impossible. This skill replaces vague recollections with precise, research-backed documentation. It delivers spoiler-complete recaps for anime, novels, games, and films, ensuring you never lose the thread of a story you have already finished.
What it does
- Multi-source research performs deep searches across English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese sources to verify plot points.
- Arc-by-arc breakdown structures long-form narratives into a logical table with volume and chapter markers.
- Character mapping provides a roster of major and supporting cast members with their plot relevance.
- Medium adaptation applies specific formatting rules for manga, light novels, visual novels, TV series, and film franchises.
- Verification flagging marks specific details as
[unverified]if they cannot be cross-referenced against official or fan documentation.
How it works
- Scope resolution identifies the specific medium, version, and depth required by the user.
- Deep search executes multi-language queries to gather chapter-level granularity and title etymology.
- Structured synthesis generates a downloadable
.mdfile containing the character roster, arc table, and detailed summary.
Frameworks & tools
This skill utilizes web_search and web_fetch for data gathering. It follows strict formatting for Markdown artifacts, focusing on data integrity over creative prose.
Why this beats prompting it yourself
Generic prompts often hallucinate plot twists or merge different versions of a story. This skill mandates a "research-before-writing" workflow, forcing the agent to cite chapter numbers and specific arc names from live data rather than training weights.
Use cases
- Reviewing a long-running manga series before a new chapter release.
- Recapping a complex visual novel's multiple routes and true ending.
- Tracking plot continuity across a decade-long film franchise.
- Refreshing memory on a narrative-heavy RPG's side quests and main acts.
Known limitations
Does not provide subjective reviews or genre labels. Very long series require a confirmation step before full generation due to output length.
