Summary
Clipped isn't installed yet (board --version wasn't found). It's a Claude Code plugin, so you install it with two commands.
Install
Run these in Claude Code
/plugin marketplace add avivalushai/clipped
/plugin install clipped@clipped
Then restart this Claude Code session so the plugin's skill and hooks load.
What happens next
From then on I keep the board for this project as we work. You don't need to ask: when we start something it becomes a card, when we switch away it gets parked with a note on where we stopped, and when it's finished it waits for your review.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/clipped:board | Open the board at http://clipped.localhost:4747 |
/clipped:park | Park what we're working on, with a note on where we stopped |
/clipped:done | Mark a card finished |
/clipped:question | Record a question that needs finding out, or answer one |
/clipped:plan | Turn a plan or spec document into cards |
Next steps
- Run the two commands above and restart the session.
- Run
/clipped:boardto open your board.
Connects securely to your tools. The creator never sees your data.
About this skill
Clipped is a free, open-source (MIT) Claude Code plugin. Once it's installed, Claude keeps a feature board for each project while you work: what's in progress, what you left halfway and where you stopped, what's waiting for your review, and what's done. You never have to ask or update it yourself.
This skill sets Clipped up: it checks whether it's already installed and, if not, gives you the two commands to install the plugin.
What you get
- A board per project, updated automatically as Claude works.
- Parked work you won't lose: when you switch to something else, Claude notes where you stopped.
- Questions and decisions recorded as you go, not lost in chat history.
- A local web UI at http://clipped.localhost:4747.
- Private by design: the board is a file in your repo. No board content leaves your machine.
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/clipped:board | Open the board, or show its status |
/clipped:park | Park what you're working on, with a note on where you stopped |
/clipped:done | Mark a card finished |
/clipped:question | Record a question that needs finding out, or answer one |
/clipped:plan | Turn a plan or spec document into cards on the board |
Requirements
Claude Code only. The board needs the plugin's CLI, hooks and local server, so it doesn't run in other agents.
