Reuse in later tasks
For destination selection, start with parseInstallArgs and expandHome. For replacement behavior, start with installSkills and the fixed skillNames list. For missing bundled source errors, inspect assertSourcesExist. README.md and README.en.md describe usage; executable installation behavior lives in the CLI file.
These findings can serve as map entries if map maintenance is requested. No map was created in this read-only example. A later session should check the current implementation before relying on these responsibilities. This example shows reusable responsibility notes; it does not measure time saved or establish a bug's root cause.

Classmap Skill keeps verified business entrypoints, code locations, and responsibility boundaries in a lightweight CLASSMAP.md. A later session or another coding assistant can reuse those findings as a starting point, then check the current implementation.
Reuse what you have already learned
Maintaining a project often means tracing the same module across separate tasks. Record the useful findings once: the behavior users describe, the code that handles it, and where responsibility passes to another module. Keep that knowledge in a small, readable Markdown map.
Clarify who owns what
A keyword match may point to several related files. Responsibility notes help distinguish login validation from token refresh, an API contract from business rules, or an active entrypoint from a related helper. The agent reads current code before recommending where to start.
Two workflows
- Map maintenance: create, refresh, repair, or inspect verified entrypoints and responsibilities.
- Code targeting: reuse map clues, inspect candidate source, follow relevant calls, and explain the responsibilities involved in the request.
Works alongside your agent
The map supplies reusable project context to the agent's existing search and code reading tools. If an entry is missing or does not explain the behavior, the agent continues with focused search. Explicit file or symbol clues can be used directly. Current code takes precedence over the map.
Keep the map small
Prioritize recurring business entrypoints, confusing boundaries, and key handoffs. During an implementation task, synchronize relevant entries in an existing map when verified routing facts change. Location, explanation, analysis, review, and drift inspection remain read-only; implementation proceeds when requested.
Best suited for
Existing projects revisited across sessions, teams working across several modules, and codebases with similar names or overlapping responsibilities. Benefits depend on map quality, maintenance, and reuse; no measured speed or accuracy comparison is available yet. Maps can become stale or incomplete and do not provide complete dependency or impact analysis.
Package contents
The Agensi download includes a SKILL.md entrypoint, the original classmap-maintain and classmap-target instructions under references/, and the MIT license. The upstream npm package installs the two workflows as separate skills.
