About this skill
Decks that hold up when judges check the numbers. Built from a series of real case-competition finals and the feedback on them, this skill takes your agent from the brief to presentation day in five phases.
What it does
- Research: reads every file, every workbook sheet and every page of the brief, including the data annex at the back. It turns the brief into a checklist and a rubric map, and studies the official template.
- Analysis: one script computes every number, tags it as given (R), derived (E) or assumed (S), and asserts the headline figures and the slide sentences themselves. It covers analytics cases (baselines, hold-outs, Wilson intervals) and strategy cases (forecast triangulation, scenarios, hurdle tests), plus a live-formula calculations workbook when the brief asks for one.
- Requirements: each brief item maps to the slide that answers it. You sign off the solution on one page before any design.
- Design: an HTML/React deck on the template's own artwork, with 31 slide layouts and 15 chart components (heatmap grid, dumbbell ranking, waterfall, forest plot, bubble matrix, waffle and more). A hand-made layer of pen rings, scribbles, one sticky and stamps comes with a dose table so it never reads as AI-made. The renderer writes the PDF, slide PNGs and a contact sheet, and it checks for overlaps, small text, unembedded fonts, page count and file size.
- Judging and presentation day: a weighted scorecard and critique lenses, a final-file audit of exactly what you submit, a .pptx export with presenter notes, a spoken-voice script, a Q&A bank, a provenance ledger and a single-page rehearsal playbook with a timer.
Included: SKILL.md; references for research, analysis, design, slide patterns, judging and .pptx export; the starter deck (index.html, components.jsx, playbook.html); and scripts for rendering, the .pptx export and the final-file check.
Needs Node with Playwright and Google Chrome for rendering, and Python 3 (python-pptx for the .pptx export).
