Verify references.bib and propose metadata repairs without overwriting the original.
- Read your context and instructions
- Compiled the bibverify
ILLUSTRATIVE FORMAT ONLY — no verification was executed and no report or repaired bibliography is claimed to exist.
Request scope
Read the user-selected references.bib and propose metadata changes without overwriting it. Confirm the permitted providers and local output directory before starting.
Proposed review record
Entry key: taken from the input bibliography.
Match status: verified match, ambiguous, not found, or provider unavailable, based only on actual lookup evidence.
Source used: record the provider and retrieval details after a real request.
Proposed field changes: display original and proposed values side by side, with the supporting evidence.
Manual-review reason: explain conflicting titles, incomplete authors, missing identifiers or unavailable sources.
Safety boundary
A not_found status does not show that a reference was fabricated. Preserve the original file and review backups, reports and proposed edits before explicit apply authorization. This example contains no real citation, DOI lookup or successful execution claim.
Next step
Install the documented dependencies in a compatible environment, select an authorized bibliography and run a small verification before trusting any repairs.
Connects securely to your tools. The creator never sees your data.
