    About this skill

    What it does

    • Validates both files first: opening + movements = closing on the statement and in the books; PDF running-balance checks.
    • Matches with a 4-level ladder: cheque/UTR reference, amount + date + narration, unique amount in the window, and many-to-one batches.
    • Classifies cheques not presented, deposits not credited, stale cheques (> 3 months), bank charges, interest, NACH/ECS/UPI/NEFT items, bounces and duplicates.
    • Builds the classic Indian BRS and suggested journal entries.
    • Gives a verdict: RECONCILED / RECONCILED-WITH-ITEMS / DOES-NOT-CLOSE. It never plugs a difference.

    How it works

    1. Attach the bank ledger export and the bank statement (PDF, Excel or CSV).
    2. Ask: "Prepare the BRS for September."
    3. Get the BRS, an Excel workbook with live formulas, and the JEs to book.

    Works with

Any agent that reads SKILL.md. Needs read files and Python for the Excel output.

    Known limitations

Reads only the attached files and never connects to a bank. It suggests entries but never posts them.

    How to use

Skills on Agensi run inside your AI agent. Copy the prompt, paste it into your agent, and it connects to Agensi and installs this skill for you. If a payment is needed, your agent shows it to you first.
