The exposure is simple quoted unit price multiplied by each offer's stated MOQ. It is not a total order commitment or landed cost. These commercial bases cannot be ranked directly: EXW, FOB, and DDP allocate responsibilities and included charges differently. The unit-price difference alone does not establish which offer is cheapest after delivery.
3. Clarifications for a like-for-like RFQ
Ask each supplier to reconfirm the locked spec and quote 500 pieces with the same size breakdown, color, print artwork, label, and packaging. Request currency, quote date/validity, style/color/fabric/trim MOQs, unit cost breakdown, setup/development fees, sample and revision charges, production capacity and evidence, material sourcing, payment milestones, production/inspection windows, named Incoterm and exact location, freight mode, insurance, duties/taxes, delivery address, and exclusions. Request legal entity and factory-site details plus relevant, current certificates and test reports with scope and issuer; these remain unverified until checked.
4. Qualification and sample gates
- Verify legal entity, business type, facility relationship, address, references, and consistency across documents; record each claim's source and date.
- Confirm the supplier can make the specified fleece, construction, print, sizes, labels, and packaging. Supplier claims remain supplier-reported until evidence is reviewed.
- Approve a development sample against the measurement chart and artwork placement; record version, measurements, defects, photos, and required changes.
- Review revised fit/size set and print/color approvals as needed. Screen images cannot confirm fiber content, colorfastness, or hidden construction.
