    About this skill

    App string files or a list of UI phrases goes in. Out comes a complete, safe localization workflow: (1) a per-string context table, (2) plural and gender handling per target language, (3) a text-expansion and RTL checklist, (4) a do-not-translate glossary, and (5) a pseudo-localization QA pass — plus a runnable validator script that compares every translation against the base file in CI.

    Ask these five questions if the answers are not already in the request. Do not start context extraction before you have at least questions 1-3.

    1. Platform: iOS, Android, or both?
    2. Source language: usually English — confirm it, and confirm the source is final (translating a moving source doubles the cost).
    3. Target languages: exact list, including region where it matters (for example Portuguese-Brazil vs. Portuguese-Portugal).
    4. App category: finance, health, e-commerce, social, games, productivity, kids/education, or other?
    5. String-file format: Apple .strings, .xcstrings, Android strings.xml, or no files yet (a raw phrase list)?
