How Agensi Payouts Work: Stripe Connect, Revenue Share, and Getting Paid

Agensi pays creators through Stripe Connect. You connect your bank account once and revenue flows automatically. Here's exactly how the money works from sale to payout.

Payouts go directly to your bank account through Stripe's standard payout schedule (typically 2-7 business days depending on your country). You also earn from Agensi Pro subscriptions: 70% of subscription revenue is distributed monthly to creators based on skill usage.

How does the revenue share work?

There are two revenue streams for creators on Agensi.

Direct sales (80/20 split). When someone buys your skill, you keep 80% of the purchase price. Agensi takes 20% which covers payment processing, security scanning, hosting, and marketplace distribution. If your skill costs $5, you earn $4 per sale. If it costs $15, you earn $12. The split is the same regardless of price or volume.

Agensi Pro subscription pool (70/30 split). Agensi Pro is a $9/month subscription that gives agents live MCP access to the full skill catalog. 70% of total subscription revenue is pooled and distributed monthly to creators based on how frequently their skills are loaded by subscribers' agents. If your skill gets loaded 500 times in a month and total loads across all skills are 10,000, you receive 5% of the creator pool. This is passive income on top of your direct sales.

How do I set up Stripe Connect?

During creator onboarding on Agensi, you'll be prompted to connect a Stripe account. If you don't have one, Stripe creates one for you during the process. The setup takes about 5 minutes and requires basic identity verification and a bank account for payouts.

Once connected, you don't need to touch Stripe again. Revenue from sales lands in your Stripe balance automatically and transfers to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule.

When do I get paid?

Stripe Connect payouts follow Stripe's standard schedule which varies by country. In most countries, payouts arrive within 2-7 business days after a sale. Stripe handles all currency conversion if needed.

You can check your current balance, pending payouts, and transaction history in the Agensi creator dashboard. Stripe also sends email notifications for each payout.

Which countries are supported?

Stripe Connect supports creators in 46+ countries including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, most of Europe, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and many others. Check Stripe's country availability list for the full and current list. Do I need to handle taxes?

Agensi does not withhold taxes from your payouts. You receive the full 80% share and are responsible for reporting income and paying taxes according to your local laws. Stripe provides tax reporting tools (1099-K in the US, for example) that summarize your annual earnings. Consult a tax professional for advice specific to your situation.

What about refunds?

If a buyer requests a refund and it's approved, the refund is deducted from your Stripe balance. The 80/20 split applies in reverse, meaning you're only charged for your share of the refund. Refund rates on Agensi are very low because buyers can read the full skill description and see the security scan badge before purchasing.
