Vladímir Rodríguez

Hi there! I'm a Ph.D. holder in computer science, which basically means I'm qualified to answer all your tech questions, but I still can't fix my mom's printer. I'm currently living in Camagüey, Cuba, where I spread my knowledge as a teacher of electric drives and industrial automation. When I'm not teaching, I dabble in software development and love to get my hands dirty with embedded systems, microprocessors, and FPGA. My current gig is with LADETEC, where we provide solutions to weather radars and industrial automation in general. I like to think of myself as a technological problem solver, kind of like a superhero, but without the cape and cool gadgets. I'm passionate about technology and always looking for innovative ways to make people's lives easier. When I'm not working, you can find me indulging in my love for good literature or spending time with my two favorite people in the world - my little daughter and my crazy son. They keep me on my toes and always remind me that life is about more than just technology (although I still think it's pretty cool). I'm also a big fan of exploring the great outdoors with my family, whether it's taking a hike in the mountains or a stroll on the beach. And when the weather isn't cooperating, you can often find us curled up with a good book or playing chess.
