I build small, sharp developer tools and ship them only after running them against real codebases, not sample data. license-guardian caught a real MPL-2.0 dependency on the first repo I pointed it at; bundle-doctor found a genuine version duplication on the second. Both are offline by design — no telemetry, no network calls, nothing phoning home from your private repo. I’d rather ship two tools that solve one problem precisely than one that tries to do everything.
